French Teacher / Stoke-on-Trent / Easter Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Academics is currently recruiting for a committed French Teacher to join a supportive, high-performing secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a full-time, fixed-term position running from Easter (13th April) through to the end of the summer term, with the view to go permanent in September.

The Role:

Teach French across KS3-KS4
Deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and communication skills
Plan, mark and assess work in line with school expectations
Promote positive behaviour and active participation
Bring the language to life through conversation, culture and interactive learning

Applicant Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in French (or equivalent)
Experience teaching French at secondary level
Strong classroom management and an engaging teaching style
Passion for languages and student progress
Ability to inspire students of all abilities
Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers
