As the team continues to grow, they're now looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to play a key role in upcoming projects.

My client is offering a salary in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 plus:

* 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Responsibilities of the Structural Design Engineer

* Lead structural steelwork design across a variety of projects

* Carry out both member and connection design using industry software (Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, Masterseries)

* Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

* Attend meetings and report to the Head of Design

* Ensure designs meet quality, budget and project requirements

* Mentor and support graduate design engineers

* Play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and driving continuous improvement across the team

Experience required of the Structural Design Engineer

* Minimum 10 years' experience in structural steelwork design

* Conversant in using Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer and Masterseries design software's.

* Strong working knowledge of UK design codes and standards

* Degree educated and ideally working towards IEng or CEng status

* Experience in temporary works design is a bonus
