The Role:
The school is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant Occupational Therapist to join its multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will work closely with the in-house Occupational Therapist to support the delivery of tailored therapy programs that enhance students' participation, independence, and wellbeing in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering occupational therapy sessions, both 1:1 and in small groups
Support sensory integration and motor development interventions
Help monitor and record student progress
Adapt classroom tools and environments to meet individual needs
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and families
Maintain therapy materials and assist with administrative tasksCandidate Requirements:

Relevant qualification or experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or similar role
Previous experience with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable
Strong understanding of developmental and sensory needs
Kind, patient, and flexible approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
