The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and make progress both academically and emotionally.

Daily responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assisting with personalised learning activities and adapting resources
  • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour where needed
  • Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO
  • Helping create an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment

This role is ideal for a caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant who wants to make a real difference in a child's school journey.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working as an Learning Support Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar support role
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with staff and pupils
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
