Ocean Import Operator - Requirements

• Experience in OCEAN IMPORT working for a freight forwarder is essential
• Sound understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics capabilities for ocean import
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interact at all level
• Understand FCL & LCL
• Handle ocean bookings into the UK
• Managing reports and providing clients with regular updates on costs, opportunities and contract performance
• Import documentation experience
• Customs clearance documentation experience would be advantageous

Ocean Import Operator - Responsibilities

• Handle all import operations for ocean (Mainly China with some other areas)
• Complete all relevant import documentation including customs entries
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external clients
• Managing reports and providing clients with regular updates on costs, opportunities and contract performance
