Job Description:

Antler Care & Recruitment Ltd is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Dental Nurse to join a well-established, professional dental practice in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This is a permanent, full-time role with a competitive hourly rate ranging from £13.25 to £13.50, depending on experience.

As an experienced Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting with both clinical and administrative duties. You will contribute to the smooth running of the dental practice by working as part of a team and helping provide excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.

*

Ensure that the practice complies with infection control guidelines and maintains a sterile environment.

*

Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in readiness for treatments.

*

Take patient medical histories, record accurate notes during appointments, and maintain up-to-date patient records.

*

Provide excellent patient care by offering clear instructions for pre- and post-operative care.

*

Support the front desk team by managing patient queries and booking appointments when required.

*

Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest dental practices and technologies.

*

Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and follow all relevant data protection protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

*

A minimum of 6 months of UK experience working as a Dental Nurse.

*

GDC registration (General Dental Council) and a valid dental nursing qualification.

*

Extensive knowledge of infection control and dental procedures.

*

Strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

*

Proficient in using dental practice software systems for record keeping and scheduling.

*

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

*

A proactive and organised approach with attention to detail.
