Business Development Executive

Location: Chippenham

Role: Permanent

Salary Negotiable Depending on experience

We are excited to be helping our client to recruit Business Development Executives for their rapidly expanding business. The successful candidate for the role will have a proven track record within sales and have the experience to grow with the company, who are already enjoying great success in their field.

The Role:

* Have an excellent telephone manner and experience of telephone sales.

* Following up on all leads provided by the team

* Make outbound calls to leads to generate appointments for field sales team to visit.

* Working to set KPI's to maximise opportunities

* Ensuring appointments are set in a sensible way geographically, to allow UK field sales team to maximise time with clients

* Developing an important knowledge of the services offered by the company.

* Updating database daily in a proficient manner

The Person:

* Passion for sales and securing new opportunities for the business

* Proven ability of securing new business and growing existing whilst exceeding targets

* Possess great communication skills to engage with potential clients across the board

* Be confident and enquiring

* Have good database skills and attention to detail

* Be self-motivated and a team player

* Have an outgoing and friendly demeanour at all times

* Possess a flexible attitude and be able to perform under pressure

* Experience in MS Office, including MS Access

* Have business acumen to make correct choices whilst maintaining company values

* Have excellent geographical knowledge of the UK
