Are you a passionate and driven Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to kickstart your teaching journey in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school? We are working in partnership with a fantastic school in Birmingham seeking an enthusiastic ECT to join their team this September.

Responsibilities:

As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners within your class. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Planning and delivering lessons: Create and implement engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students, in line with the National Curriculum. Tailor your approach to suit the diverse needs of your pupils.

* Classroom management: Maintain a positive, well-structured, and disciplined classroom environment, ensuring that pupils are motivated, focused, and encouraged to achieve their best.

* Assessment and feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Use data to monitor learning, identify areas of improvement, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

* Supporting pupil development: Provide pastoral care and support to help each child reach their full potential, addressing both academic and personal development needs.

* Collaboration: Work alongside the experienced teaching team, including mentors and senior leaders, to ensure consistency across the school. Participate in regular meetings and share best practices.

* Parental communication: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians through meetings, emails, and reports, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.

* Contributing to school life: Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and community outreach initiatives. Support the broader school ethos and encourage a positive and inclusive school culture.

* Professional development: Engage in ongoing learning, attend training sessions, and seek feedback to continually improve your practice as part of your ECT induction and beyond.

Requirments:

* A Primary ECT with QTS (or on track to achieve this by July).

* A reflective teacher eager to contribute to a dynamic school team.

* Able to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons and create a safe, stimulating classroom environment.

* Committed to building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

* DBS on the Update Service.
