Your Role

*

Teach engaging, skills-based DT lessons across KS3 to KS5 with an emphasis on design thinking, sustainability, and engineering

Guide students through practical project work, CAD software, and coursework portfolios

Work closely with the Head of DT on curriculum development and extracurricular STEM activities

*

Contribute to trips, exhibitions, and national design competitions

Ideal Candidate

*

DT/Product Design degree and QTS (or on track to complete PGCE/QTS by July 2025)

*

Experience or interest in teaching resistant materials, CAD/CAM, and sustainable design principles

*

Excellent workshop skills, with a strong emphasis on safety, creativity, and problem-solving

*

A collaborative, energetic teaching style and a commitment to professional development
