An innovative, UK-based space company is looking to appoint a Quality Manager to lead its growing Quality team. This role ensures compliance with AS9100 and export controls while supporting cutting-edge space projects in a fast-paced R&D environment. • Manage Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Product Assurance staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (AS9100), ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis, non-conformance resolution, and risk mitigation across projects.
• Monitor and audit external suppliers to uphold company standards.
• Conduct internal audits, manage CAPAs, and serve as the primary contact for external audits.

Quality ManagerRequirements

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• CQI Level 5+ QA qualification (Desirable).
• Proven experience in a senior Quality role, preferably in aerospace, defence, or high-precision manufacturing.
• Proven people management experience
• Expertise in AS9100, QMS implementation, and product assurance.
