Contract Administrator

Exciting high-profile concert Lighting company in La Mirada, CA is seeking a high energy, professional who wants to be a part of a dynamic team to streamline the contract administration process.  

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the rental of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products.

Primary responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts that involve the rental of goods and services for high profile concerts, events and movies.
  • Handle the distribution, and store of equipment and supplies.
  • Follow up on unreturned property.
  • Oversee proposal planning and administration of contracts.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.
  • Track authorizations and correspondence.
  • Maintain detailed and organized files.
  • Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
  • Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status, facilitate contractor meetings.
  • Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, owner specifications and government regulations.
  • Perform closing activities as needed.
  • Track payments and deadlines.
  • Analyze and mitigate risk.
  • Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy.


·         3-5 years in contracts, project management or loan processing

·         College degree or equivalent experience

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous part orders and descriptions.

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Excellent communication skills

·         MS Word, Excel and Data entry skills

·         Knowledge of inventory systems is a huge plus

M - F Flexible hours but core hours are 10 am - 6 pm as you will work with the entertainment industry.
