Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Hours: Full-Time (Shift pattern: 7:30am-4:00pm or 9:30am-6:00pm)
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications)
Contract: Maternity Cover - Fixed Term

A friendly and well-established nursery in Worthing is seeking a room leader to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and support a dedicated team in delivering high-quality early years education.

About the role:

Lead a room team to provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment
Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS
Support children's development through observation, assessment, and tailored learning
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeingWhat we're looking for:

Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare
Previous experience in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role
Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A warm, proactive, and team-focused approachWhat we offer:
