The Role
As a key part of the advice team, you’ll work alongside experienced Financial Planners, a junior Paraplanner, and support staff to deliver tailored financial planning for a wide variety of clients. You’ll have real influence in shaping reporting processes, developing smarter initiatives, and embedding cashflow modelling and estate planning into the firm’s client service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing bespoke, compliant suitability reports for pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
- Supporting advisers with technical research and product analysis
- Conducting cashflow modelling and scenario planning using Intelligent Office and Dynamic Planner
- Maintaining accurate records in line with FCA standards
- Collaborating closely with advisers, clients, and support staff to deliver outstanding outcomes
- Helping to drive continuous improvement in reporting and client communication
About You
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential)
Proven paraplanning experience within an IFA or wealth management firm
Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and tax-efficient planning
Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
Confident working with systems such as Intelligent Office, Dynamic Planner, FE Analytics
Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable voicing ideas
Desirable:
- Experience with cashflow modelling tools
- Exposure to HNW clients and complex planning cases
- Ambition to progress toward Chartered Financial Planner status
