Field Service Engineer / Forklift Engineer - Newcastle - Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Van - 40 Hours/Week

Are you a Forklift Engineer, Field Service Technician, HGV/Plant Engineer, or Materials Handling Engineer looking for a role where your skills are truly valued? If you take pride in diagnosing faults and fixing machines properly the first time, this is the role for you.

We're hiring a Field Service Engineer covering Newcastle and surrounding areas, working on forklifts, lift trucks, and other materials handling equipment. You'll have the freedom to work independently, manage your own day, and deliver high-quality service to customers.

No micromanagement. No pointless workshop time. Just proper engineering.

What You'll Be Doing

Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts, counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet trucks
Servicing, preventative maintenance, and emergency breakdown support
Keeping both customer and company machines fully operational
Working independently across Newcastle and nearby sites
Completing job reports and communicating clearly with customersWhat You'll Need

Technical background in forklifts, lift trucks, plant, HGVs, or similar materials handling equipment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Service Technician, Field Engineer, or Mobile Engineer
Ability to work safely and independently
