Senior Quantity Surveyor - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor in the Nottingham/Derby area. We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors.

Duties:

Lead the commercial management of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring cost control and value maximization.

Prepare, review, and negotiate contract documents, subcontracts, and procurement strategies in line with project requirements.

Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress, forecast project costs, and manage risk and change effectively.

Experience:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment, preferably on large-scale commercial or residential projects.

*

Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract and excellent contractual awareness.

*

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and mentor junior surveyors, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Benefits:
