Anderson Knight is excited to be recruiting an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join a legal firm's brand-new office in South Lanarkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team, where you'll play a key role in supporting a busy conveyancing function. Candidates must have experience working within Scottish conveyancing and a solid understanding of Scottish property law.

Key Responsibilities

*

Property Transaction Support: Assist with the full lifecycle of residential and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

*

Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documentation such as contracts, title deeds, and leases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

*

Client & Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties, providing clear and timely updates throughout the process.

*

File & Case Management: Maintain well-organised and accurate client files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and key deadlines are met.

*

Land Registration: Support with Land Register applications and ensure all submissions comply with current registration requirements.

*

Financial & Transactional Support: Assist with completion statements, client accounts, and other financial elements of conveyancing transactions.

*

Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and drafting correspondence for solicitors.

Essential Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal or property-focused environment.

*

Strong working knowledge of Scottish conveyancing and property law.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

High level of attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

*

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
