Our small manufacturing client near Danvers, MA is hiring a part-time bookkeeper/staff accountant to join their team. This person should have a strong background in bookkeeping with a knack for the “nuts and bolts” of accounting. The right candidate will be available for 3-5 days/week in a set and regular routine. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a small and friendly team!
· Post AR checks to customer accounts
· Accounts Payables – entering bills to accounts
· Maintain chart of accounts
· Reconciliations for balance sheet and cash accounts
· Prepare financial and operational reports
· 3+ years’ experience as a full charge bookkeeper or staff accountant
· Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookups, formulas)
· Strong business communication skills
· Ability to work independently
