Smart Education are working with a Secondary School located in the heart of the West Midlands, situated between the Airport and the city centre. This school are looking to appoint a Food Teacher to join them for the New Academic Year to teach Food, Catering and Nutrition to pupils aged 11-16. The role can be offered on a permanent or 1 year contract basis that will run through to the end of the academic year 2025/26.

This school are the heart of the local community, located in an area of high deprivation the school offers a transformative experience for their pupils, and was graded as a 'Good' school in their most recent Ofsted. The successful applicant will be a qualified Teacher with experience teaching Food. The school are also encouraging applications from DT Teachers comfortable teaching food. Job Requirements for this Food Teacher role:

Qualified Teacher Status
Valid Child DBS (Or be willing to get one)
Patience, empathy and a commitment to serving the pupils you support to the best of your ability
Clear understanding and commitment to safeguarding
Ability to offer differentiated teaching as required
Strong communication and teamwork to work with the erst of the staff team
