This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay, dependent on experience, and could be either a long-term contract or a permanent position, with a start date in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN practitioner who is committed to supporting the academic and personal development of young people with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, ASD, and complex learning needs. Support the academic, emotional, and social development of students across key stages (KS1-KS4 depending on the setting).

*

Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement, positive behaviour, and achievement.

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.

*

Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment and life skills activities.

About You

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

*

Experience teaching students with SEN/SEMH in a school or alternative provision setting.

*

Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

*

Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.

*

Experience with trauma-informed approaches or specialist SEN strategies (desirable).
