HGV Technician (Night Shift)

Location: Halesowen
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + £5,000 Shift Allowance
Overtime Rate: 1.5x

Hours:

Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 17:30 - 06:00

Week 2: Tuesday to Friday, 17:30 - 06:00

The Opportunity We are recruiting experienced HGV Technicians to join a busy night shift team based in Halesowen. This is a great chance to work in a modern commercial vehicle dealership with a strong focus on quality, customer service, and a supportive team environment.

You'll carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and MOT preparations on a range of commercial vehicles, working closely with a skilled team to keep vehicles safe, reliable, and roadworthy.

For successful candidates, there is also the opportunity to obtain an IRTEC and a Class 1 License should the candidate not already hold these licences. 

What You'll Be Doing
Performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards

Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently

Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and ensuring compliance

Following warranty procedures and quality control processes

Working collaboratively with parts and service teams to provide excellent customer service

What You'll Need
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, preferably in a dealership or commercial workshop

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Willingness and ability to work night shifts, meet deadlines and maintain high standards

Full UK driving licence, ideally with HGV licence
