Mechanical Supervisor

Location: Tilbury Docks, Essex (London and surrounding)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (LTD also available)

A leading M&E contractor is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the mechanical delivery of a major infrastructure project at Tilbury Docks in Essex. This is a long-term role, ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong coordination skills and experience managing groundworks-phase mechanical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day supervision of mechanical trades on site

*

Oversee the installation of below-ground and sitewide mechanical services

*

Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and ensure adherence to H&S standards

*

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors

*

Ensure all works meet programme, spec, and quality requirements

Requirements:

*

Proven background in mechanical supervision (pipefitting/HVAC)

*

Experience working on infrastructure or early-stage construction

*

SSSTS or SMSTS and a valid CSCS card essential

*

Ability to lead teams and liaise with multiple trades

*

Experience in overseeing services being put into the ground.
