Mechanical Fitter - Marine Systems & Offshore Renewables

Salary: £37,500 per annum + generous overtime and shift premiums

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a high-performing team working on complex marine systems, shipboard plant equipment, and heavy mechanical installations.

Key Responsibilities

* Fit, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical systems onboard vessels and associated infrastructure

* Overhaul and maintain engines, generators, compressors, pumps, and other plant systems

* Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works on mechanical and structural issues

* Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance

* Work safely and efficiently within a team, upholding high standards of quality and compliance

What We're Looking For

* Experience as a mechanical fitter, ideally in marine, shipbuilding, industrial, offshore or heavy engineering environments

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

* Hands-on fault-finding and problem-solving ability

* Methodical, safety-conscious approach to mechanical systems work

* Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
