Salary: £55,000-£65,000 basic salary + bonus + benefits package (private healthcare, pension etc).

Your Role
As a MRICS Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across a diverse range of sectors, including retail, healthcare, energy, commercial property, education, residential, and the public domain. Working alongside senior managers, you'll lead multi-disciplinary teams with a commitment to outstanding results while growing as a leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
•Overseeing refurbishment, improvement, and modernisation projects across various sectors.
•Conducting feasibility studies, preparing specifications, securing estimates, obtaining statutory approvals, and managing contracts.
•Applying standard building contract forms, including JCT and NEC.
•Offering professional surveying services with a deep technical understanding.
•Mentoring and training Building Surveyors while providing supervisory support for junior professionals working toward RICS APC certification.
•Implementing quality, safety, and environmental principles in asset surveys, design, and project management.
•Supporting senior managers with their day-to-day responsibilities.
•Managing and developing junior Building Surveying staff.
•Conducting surveys, inspections, and schedules while overseeing professional services and regional projects.
•Driving business development by identifying new opportunities and preparing competitive bids.

Role Requirements
•A B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited degree.
•Chartered status (will consider someone close to sitting their APC).
•Strong technical surveying knowledge and significant experience in the field.
•Experience managing clients, with an awareness of commercial strategy.
•Proven ability to mentor, train, and coach team members.
•Expertise in workload and project management.
•Proficiency in drafting technical documents, including client requirements, asset reviews, feasibility studies, specifications, and drawings.
•Professional Building Surveying experience, such as Dilapidations, Party Wall, Fire Risk, and Access Assessments
