White Label is representing an engineering and manufacturing business based in Bradford who require a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

If you've got experience in pressure vessels, stainless steel fabrication, and 3D Inventor, this could be a great next step.

My client is offering:

* A salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

* Produce 3D GA design drawings using Autodesk Inventor

* Create detailed 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD

* Assist in delivering complete pressure vessel or skid package designs from concept to manufacture

* Produce tagging and nameplate drawings, and BOMs for procurement

* Liaise with Project Director and attend customer project meetings

* Collaborate with QA, planning, and shopfloor teams internally

* Coordinate with Third Party Inspection Authorities for drawing/calculation approvals

* Contribute to hazard analysis, risk assessments, and PED reviews

* Support project schedule monitoring, goods inspection, and FAT checking

Experience required of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

* Strong background in pressure vessel, heat exchanger or similar

* Proficient with 3D Inventor and 2D AutoCAD

* Good understanding of pressure vessel codes and PED compliance

* Experienced in liaising with internal and external stakeholders across projects

* Able to support projects from design through to final inspection and delivery

* HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering preferred
