Python / Vue.js Contractor Location: UK Based - 100% Remote Contract Length: 12 Months Rate: £negotiable IR35 Status: Outside IR35

We're looking for an experienced Python / Vue.js Contractor to join a long-term programme of work on a 12-month contract. This role is fully remote and open to UK-based contractors only.

You'll be working on the development and enhancement of modern, scalable applications, collaborating with a distributed engineering team on business-critical systems.

The Role

Develop and maintain backend services using Python

Build and enhance user interfaces using Vue.js

Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers

Contribute to clean, scalable, and maintainable code

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Support ongoing development across a long-term programme

Required Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience with Python

Solid frontend experience with Vue.js

Experience working in a contract environment

Comfortable working 100% remotely

Based in the UK

Desirable

Experience with REST APIs

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Experience working in Agile teams
