OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Support & Product Specialist to join our team in Manchester. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in intruder alarms and panels, who thrives on delivering exceptional customer support and product training. The position involves a mix of office-based work, site visits, and collaboration with various teams to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Conduct on-site visits to deliver product training and technical assistance to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support customer needs and ensure seamless product integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to intruder alarms and panels.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to customers, ensuring they are confident in using our products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range and industry developments.
  • Act as a key point of contact for technical inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with intruder alarms and panels is essential.
  • Experienced in installing and a great understanding of Intruder alarms
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and training sessions.

Day-to-Day

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support through various communication channels.
  • Visit customer sites to deliver hands-on product training and technical assistance.
  • Work closely with the sales team to address customer needs and provide technical expertise during the sales process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
  • Stay updated on product developments and industry trends to provide informed support and training.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials tailored to customer requirements.
