The Company
A well-established engineering company that is going through a strong growth period and is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the growing design team.

The Role
You will be reporting in the engineering direction to bring customers' designs to life. Working closely with customers and working across a variety of sectors and working on some exciting projects. You will be working in a close-knit team, the role is office based however after probation there is a hybrid option.

Duties:
• Design and development of new and existing components/products

• Conceptual Design

• Conceptualising new automation solutions

• Detailing existing designs

• Site layout design

• Producing BoMs to accompany all designs

• Project management

• Ownership of certain customers' projects from conception, design, and build

• Ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest possible standards and in a timely fashion

The Candidate
Hold a mechanical engineering qualification
Working knowledge of 3D CAD packages
Experience designing special-purpose machinery
Able to communicate with customers
Hold a UK driving license and own a vehicle
Full right to work in the U.K indefinitely without sponsorship

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £50,000 plus a bonus per annum to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities
