Trade Counter Retail Sales Assistant

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 + Profit Share

You'll serve at the counter, build trade quotes, give advice, and help drive business performance through brilliant service and re-engagement with existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve trade and cash customers on the counter

- Build quotes and manage trade accounts

- Offer product advice and technical knowledge

- Keep stock areas and displays organised

- Support with picking and packing orders

- Re-engage with dormant or lower-spend customers

What We're Looking For

- Background in a plumbing & heating, DIY, or builders' merchant environment

- Customer-first attitude with strong communication skills

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on trade counter

- Ability to manage stock, pricing, and in-store decisions

- Full clean UK driving licence
