Role: Senior Network Engineer

Location: London (on-site with out-of-hours requirements)

Salary: £70,000–£90,000 + bonus

Our client, a leading organisation in network infrastructure and managed services, is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to lead and support the ongoing development of a high-performance network environment.

This role offers the opportunity to shape and scale critical infrastructure, lead a talented engineering team, and play a key role in delivering reliable, customer-centric network services.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop a high-performing network engineering team
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across enterprise environments
• Commission, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure
• Act as an escalation point for technical issues and incidents
• Build and maintain technical documentation, processes, and knowledge base

You’ll work closely with internal teams, customers, and third-party suppliers to ensure high service standards and continuous improvement across the network estate.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience in an ISP, MSP, or SME environment
• Strong team leadership combined with hands-on network engineering
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, and wireless technologies
• Experience with MPLS/VPLS, BGP, and TCP/IP/OSI models
• Expertise in Juniper environments (including RSVP MPLS, VPLS, dual stack)
