Are you an experienced leader in children's residential care, ready to take on a new challenge and make a lasting impact?


We're looking for a passionate and driven Registered Manager to lead a high-quality children's residential home in Buckhurst Hill, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of a home and shape the service with autonomy, vision, and purpose.

About the Role:
As Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and leadership. You'll lead from the front-motivating your team, promoting a positive culture, and delivering outstanding outcomes for the children in your care.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the home in line with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards

  • Lead, manage, and develop a strong staff team

  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and progress of every child in your care

  • Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and professionals

  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain a nurturing, structured environment


Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management - Children & Young People (Or willing to undertake)

  • Proven experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting

  • In-depth understanding of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and therapeutic practice

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to creating a positive and supportive home environment
