Reservation Consultant

• Location: Poole, Dorset
• Salary: £14 - £15 per hour + Substantial commission and bonus incentives
• Job Type: Temporary, Full-time
• Office Hours: Shifts between 8am-6:30pm on a rota basis (5 days out of 7)

Join a dynamic team as a Reservation Consultant on a temporary basis. With over 20 years of experience in housing solutions, our group specialises in supporting organisations across various sectors with complex accommodation needs. This role is crucial in managing enquiries and bookings to ensure outstanding guest experiences and maximise occupancy and revenue.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage the entire reservation process from initial enquiry to booking confirmation, ensuring smooth communication with guests and internal teams.
• Liaise with Property Management and Guest Experience teams to prepare for guest arrivals.
• Maintain up-to-date data and systems, adhering to our 'sundown' policy to ensure no tasks are left outstanding at the end of the day.
• Convert enquiries into high-value bookings to support revenue targets.
• Assist the Finance team in processing payments and ensuring that direct clients have paid prior to arrival.
• Respond promptly and professionally to all guest queries.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain accurate listings on online platforms and support promotional and business development activities.
• Engage with guests and property owners to build lasting relationships and deliver a luxury experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Reservations.
• Proven background in Corporate Housing, Serviced Accommodation, or Hotel Reservations.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a busy sales office environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and client service.
