Site Engineer - Clean Water Mains Replacement
Mid Sussex & Hampshire | Full-time | Civil Engineering / Utilities

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of clean water mains replacement projects across Mid Sussex and Hampshire. This role will play a vital part in ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient engineering delivery on essential infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day site engineering operations on clean water mains replacement projects

Set out works in accordance with construction drawings and specifications

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures

Work closely with delivery teams and subcontractors to maintain programme and quality standards

Maintain records of site activities, including materials used, progress, and as-built data

Liaise with the design and pre-construction teams to resolve any technical queries

Contribute to the preparation and implementation of method statements and risk assessments

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working on clean water or utilities infrastructure projects

HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Strong understanding of setting out, site surveying, and QA procedures

Working knowledge of HSE regulations and CDM

Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

CSCS card and a full UK driving licence

Desirable:

Experience with clean water infrastructure, including pipe laying, mains diversion, and reinstatement

Temporary works or confined space training
