We're seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team. You'll manage a varied caseload of around 18 children, including CIN, CP, and CIC cases, and deliver effective, evidence-based interventions that truly impact lives.

Key Details:

Location: Tewkesbury Social Care Locality Office, GL20 5TT
Contract: 6-month assignment (Dec 2025 - May 2026)
Rate: £42 per hour
Start Date: 1 December 2025
Working Pattern: Office-based 3 days per week, flexible/home working consideredWhat You'll Do:

Hold a mixed caseload including court work
Ensure timely, high-quality interventions for children and families
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
Maintain face-to-face contact with children (except in confirmed COVID cases)About You:

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Strong experience in child protection, care planning, and court work
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work flexibly and manage competing prioritiesWe provide a laptop and smartphone to support flexible working and help you balance work and home life.
