Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 (Plus additional company benefits)

A rapidly growing M&E Building Services Contractor who are based in Kent are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to play a pivotal role within my clients design team. My client works with blue chip contractors in the London market and operate in the commercial office, residential, mixed-use & pharmaceutical sectors.

They are looking for said individual to come into the team a play a key role in the production of mechanical designs with project values up to £40 million MEP.

This is a stellar opportunity for any Senior Design Engineer that has been in their role for a number of years that is looking to take their career to the next level with a market leading M&E Contractor who work on some of the most complex & exciting projects in London whilst being on a market leading salary and package with lots of further progression still on offer.

Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience

Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion.
Strong internal & external presentation and communication skills.
Ability to use your own initiative and work under time constraints.
Preference shown for candidates with experience using CAD, Revit, Microsoft office & Amtech.
Preferred experience managing both Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers.
Providing accurate and detailed design in a timely manner.
Ability to produce specifications, schedules, drawings, and any other contract documents developed through the RIBA work stages.
Overall Engineering responsibilities for mechanical systems.
Provide technical support for the Mechanical Design Team.
Manage both the Mechanical & Electrical Design Teams
Work closely with the Supply Chain to ensure best value and manages variations / value engineering / re-engineering.
Support the Project Team on technical matters with either the client or stakeholders.

Industry leading basic salary and packages (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
