We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Manager to oversee the operations of our care home. We are also happy to consider outstanding Deputy Managers looking to step up.

The ideal candidate will possess strong care leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care to residents, particularly those with dementia. As the Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all care plans are implemented effectively, medication administration is conducted safely, and that the home operates in compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the care home, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of residents.
  • Oversee medication administration processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity and respect for all residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of quality assurance.
  • Liaise with families and external agencies to promote collaborative care approaches.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursing home or care home setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Experience in dementia care is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing care plans and medication administration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff at all levels.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in care standards.
