Class 2 Driver - Witney

£15.00 per hour | £22.50 Overtime | Temp to Perm

The Best Connection Oxford are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our well-established client based in Witney, a leading building merchants. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for a permanent position after a successful probation period.

You will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers and sites, completing between 1-5 drops per shift.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN convictions)
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good customer service and communication skills

Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 start time
• £15.00 per hour
• £22.50 per hour overtime rate
• Temp to perm opportunity following a successful probation period

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Class 2 driving delivering building materials to customers and construction sites
• Typically 1-5 drops per shift
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle safety checks and adhering to road safety regulations
• Providing professional customer service at delivery points
