Ribble Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager or Deputy Manager to lead a newly established children's residential home. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a home, embedding a strong culture of safeguarding, high standards, and child-centred care.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the service, recruiting and developing a skilled team, and creating a safe, nurturing, and aspirational environment where children and young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Ofsted registration process and maintain ongoing regulatory compliance

*

Ensure the home meets the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

*

Provide strong, values-led leadership, supervision, and development for staff

*

Promote positive behaviour support and trauma-informed care

*

Ensure robust safeguarding and safer recruitment practices are embedded

*

Build positive professional relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders

*

Confidently lead the home through Ofsted inspections, driving continuous improvement

About You

You will:

*

Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or working towards

*

Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a children's residential setting within the last 5 years

*

Have experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager

*

Demonstrate strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, regulations, and inspection requirements

*

Be confident in opening and developing a new service

*

Be resilient, child-focused, and committed to achieving positive outcomes
