Teaching Assistant - Early Years (Full Time)

An established independent nursery in Kensington is seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join its Early Years team, supporting children aged 3-4 years. This nursery is term time only for 36 weeks a year. This is an amazing job supporting a class of 8 children (am) and 3 children (pm).
This role is ideal for a caring, confident Teaching Assistant who enjoys working in a high-quality early year's environment and is comfortable taking initiative with small groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting 8 children aged 3-4 years within the Early Years setting in the morning session
* Assisting 3 children with play-based learning and daily routines in the afternoon session.
* Leading small group activities to support learning and development
* Classroom support during morning sessions
* Supporting extended-day provision in the afternoons
Person Specification
* Previous experience within an Early Years / EYFS setting
* Confident leading and engaging small groups of children
* Warm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
Salary & Hours
* Full-Time position
* Salary: £22,000 per annum
* If a suitable full-time candidate is not available, part-time (mornings only) will be considered
