Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils and by organizing learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of one’s students.
- Provide appropriate feedback on work.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in English or a related subject.
- Proven experience as an English Teacher.
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
- Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized and committed.
