Do you have a precision engineering background? My client is a global manufacturer of precision measuring instruments and equipment and is looking for a Field Service Engineer to representing them at Customer premises, this role supports the field service team. The role covers installation, service, repair, and calibration of their precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilties:

* Visit customer sites

* Install precision measuring equipment

* Complete service and calibration work

* Undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification

Experience Required:

* Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience

* Precision Engineering background

* Effective communicator, organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Good IT skills

* Full valid driving license

* Experience of fault finding on mechanical/electrical systems

* Strong time management skills

* Have good interpersonal skills

This is a field-based role focusing mainly on their customer base in the Midlands, although travel further afield maybe required as well as occasional overnight stays.
