Job Title: Approved Electrician (EICR & Maintenance)
Location: Richmond
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out EICRs, reactive repairs, maintenance, and installations in accordance with manufacturer guidance and statutory regulations.

* Diagnose and efficiently resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.

* Participate in the out-of-hours rota to provide emergency call-out cover.

* Maintain a high standard of work while respecting tenants, colleagues, and the work environment.

* Liaise with contract administrators and office staff to stay updated on daily schedules and job requirements.

* Manage and replenish van stock; ensure all required materials are available for scheduled work.

* Accurately complete and submit all job-related paperwork in line with data protection regulations.

* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

* Provide support to colleagues across other contracts when needed.

* Mentor apprentices and attend relevant training courses to stay up to date with best practices and safety requirements.

* Ensure all Health & Safety and PPE guidelines are strictly followed.

* Maintain cleanliness and security of company tools, vehicles, and equipment.

Requirements:

* Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* City and Guilds 2391 and 18th Edition

* Valid UKATA Asbestos Awareness Training certification.

* Full clean UK Driving Licence.

* Willing to undergo (or already holds) a valid DBS check.

* Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance and EICR within social housing sector
