Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and maintenance services to clients' equipment in the field covering the North West area. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

* You will maintain, service and repair equipment (generators) at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

* Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on various systems and machinery.

* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.

* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored support.

* Document service activities, including repairs, maintenance schedules, and customer interactions.

* Train customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.

* Supporting the business with being part of the on-call rota

Requirements

* A relevant technical qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds) or degree in engineering or time served experience

* Hands-on experience with generators

* Proven background as an Engineer

* Your own tools

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients.

* Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

* A valid driver's licence is essential for travel to client locations.
