A PMLD Secondary School are looking for a flexible long term Teaching Assistant for a October start. The candidate must hold a certificate in Manual Handling and be willing to support with feeding and personal care; changing, toileting, changing nappies for pupils with profound multiple learning difficulties. Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support the students within the classroom settings and on a 1:1 basis being committed to supporting their academic development in a patient and caring manner.

The suitable candidate will have the following:

•             Manual Handling training (or willing to complete)

•             Experience within SEN and/or educational environments

•             Dedication to safeguarding pupils

•             Enthusiastic personality

•             Any relevant experience with PECS and Makaton
