Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £45,000 (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has opened for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering team working on the development and enhancement of next-generation maritime technologies. You'll be part of a close-knit team of engineers, collaborating across disciplines to design and develop electromechanical systems that make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

* Designing and developing mechanical components in Autodesk Inventor (3D & 2D CAD)

* Driving improvements and modifications to existing products

* Supporting manufacturing processes and resolving design-for-manufacture issues

* Coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure delivery and quality

* Managing configuration and contributing to design change processes

Skills Required:

* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

* Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault (preferred).

* Experience with the full product development lifecycle.

* Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Desirable: Broader technical experience in electronics or field trials.
