Job Title: Permanent Warehouse Assistant
Location: Witham, Essex
Hours: Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 (30 min lunch)
Salary: £23,868 - £27,378 depending on number of days worked worked
Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Witham on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role that offers a great opportunity to be part of a well-established company within an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and sign for goods, placing them in designated storage areas

Pick parts from stores for production and self-serve bins

Load and unload delivery vehicles (Forklift Truck use required)

Prepare units for dispatch

Maintain cleanliness and safety of workshop floor, yard, and stores

Coordinate waste collection

Use internal database to monitor stock levels

Raise purchase orders for stock and contract requirements

Experience & Skills Required:

Manual handling experience essential

Computer literacy required

Forklift Truck licence desirable

Must be well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks

Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous
