We are seeking a dedicated Policy Compliance Officer to join our collaborative and supportive team under the guidance of the Information Governance Manager. This role is crucial in upholding high standards of information governance and ensuring compliance across our dynamic organisation.

• Support the management and resolution of data breaches, including logging and tracking incidents.
• Monitor and manage shared inboxes to ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Liaise with departments to maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Track and report on GDPR training compliance across the organisation.
• Contribute to a range of Information Governance (IG) tasks and initiatives.
• Coordinate, quality check, and draft responses relating to complaints, FOIs, SARs, EIRs, Elected Member and MP enquiries, and LGO investigations.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and procedures relating to Information Governance.
• Support the Data Protection Officer in undertaking internal reviews and managing data incidents.

• Experience or a strong interest in information governance, data protection, or compliance.
• Confident in managing sensitive information and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Access Dimensions & Salesforce is beneficial.
