Science Technician- Location: Sidcup

We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join our team at a well-respected college in Sidcup. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in health and safety, particularly within a scientific or educational setting.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare materials and equipment for science experiments and demonstrations.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health and safety regulations, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
- Assist in the maintenance and organisation of science laboratories.
- Support teaching staff and students during laboratory sessions.
- Manage the stock and storage of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain safety equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Science Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a laboratory environment, including COSHH.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in science or a related field are preferred.
