Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a Shift Team Leader for one of our clients in the Croydon area. This is an exclusive opportunity for an experienced individual with a hands-on maintenance background who can lead a team of shift technicians.

The Role: The Shift Team Leader will be responsible for supervising and providing direction to the shift team on the site. You will plan, implement, and monitor systems and processes to maximise the process whilst ensuring HSE compliance.

The Shift Team Leader will be the Senior Authorised Person (SAP). Experience with Safe Systems of Work, permits to work, and safety documentation is essential.

As well as this, Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of the plant.

* Prioritising workloads to ensure maximum efficiency.

* Develop shift team members through personal development and performance appraisal meetings.

* Ensure all activities within the plant are carried out in line with HSE policies and procedures.

* Work with the greater management team

* Record plant defects are identified, reported, and recorded on the CMMS.

* Carry out regular team meetings.

The Candidate:

* HNC/HND in an engineering discipline

* IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent Health and Safety qualification

* Hands-on front-line maintenance experience

* Experience managing and supervising work activities

* Process or Power Plant experience

* Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with HV/LV Electrical safety

* Maintenance Management Systems experience

* Good understanding of Environmental health and safety

The Package:

* Up to £62,500 basic salary

* Shift allowance of £6,142

* Living allowance of £4,694 per annum

* Overtime

* Up to 10% Bonus
