Service Technician

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join their existing team.

You will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with horticultural machinery sold by the company’s sales departments. This role will be solely workshop based.

Essential Skills/Experience:Repair and maintain equipment for customers associated with Horticultural machineryDiagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs and service workGood knowledge of Utility, Garden and small Agricultural machineryKnowledge of Domestic or Professional Grass Machinery and how it functions is advantageous Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest softwareHave the ability to work alone using own initiative and as part of a teamHeavy lifting but apply common sense to items that require assistanceGood communication skillsCompetent in the use of computersExcellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephoneBe self-motivatedFull clean driver’s licence

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm and 8am - 4pm on a Friday with 1 hour unpaid lunchSurbiton Area
