We are working with a leading manufacturer of high-quality window systems, serving both residential and commercial markets across the region. They have a strong reputation for innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction and they are expanding their leadership team and are seeking a driven Deputy Manager to help lead operations at their busy manufacturing facility.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the business Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing site. You will play a key role in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and motivate production teams to meet performance goals

* Working with local customers providing an excellent level of knowledge and service

* Monitor KPIs and implement improvements in efficiency and quality

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

* Support planning, scheduling, and workflow optimisation

* Contribute to staff training, development, and performance reviews

* Liaise with other departments (sales, logistics, procurement) to ensure smooth operations

About You

* Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within manufacturing - ideally windows, doors, construction or building supplies

* Strong leadership and communication skills in order to work with a wide and varied customer base

* Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality control systems, and H&S regulations

* Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* IT literate (MS Office, ERP systems)
